Hi,
Thank you for visiting my page. Since late spring last year I have taken up cycling in a big way and for those of you that may remember, I have lost a significant amount of weight as a result (7 stone to date). While I have been doing this as a personal challenge to get back in shape and get into sport again, I decided it would be a good idea to sign myself up for some sportives and charity rides to give some purpose to my cycling as well as set some key targets for my return to shape :) It also give me a chance to tap up all my friends and colleagues for a good cause!
The London to Brighton cycle is one of two big cycles I am doing this year (the other is the London Ride 100) and the British Heart Foundation is a fantastic cause. When you dig deep just remember that I will no doubt be regurgitating my lungs up on some of the route and have promised myself I won't be stopping on any of the hills :)
