Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!
MH Survival is a high-octane urban-based running event with obstacles designed to keep you on your toes. The Survival of the Fittest course will take you from the Start line in the hustle and bustle of the event village onto an unforgiving 12km course interspersed with obstacles every kilometre. You may negotiate urban and rural landscapes throughout your travels on the course, armed for unexpected twists and turns at every corner.
http://www.mhsurvival.co.uk/page27.aspWe are now both in training, running probably 20km a week through to October. So dig deep - if only for our poor aching knees! We want to raise £1000 at least. If we reach our target, we promise to do the 3 Peaks 24 Hour Challenge next year for the same charity!! So think of all that pain your donations can inflict on us !! Think of all those terrible practical jokes I played on you - its gotta be worth a fiver at least!!
We want to help support Help for Heroes. The guys that come back wounded are horribly injured, and this charity supports them when they need a lot of help. Its brilliant.
The wounded are often the forgotten caveat in a news report telling us of the tragic deaths of another soldier(s). I want to help in some small way to say thank you to these brave men and women who serve on our behalf. many disagree with what our troops are called upon to do overseas, but this isnt about that. If anyone has any issues - look to the politicians first, our troops loyally do as asked, as always, popular or unpopular.
