I am running a 10 k race along the Thames tow path on 5th September in support of a number of charities which are particularly close to my heart - these include BLISS (premature babies), SHOOTING STAR (local hospice for terminally ill kids) and CANCER UK.  I have not run a race for about 20 years (!)  so will have to put in alot of effort, but really think it's worth it for these causes.  You will notice from my photo that my Iliac crest has already developed, and my hair is shorn...
