Story
Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page.
This year, we have decided to do a combined fundraising challenge:
The London Triathlon.
David will be swimming 1,500 metres in the gloriously clean River Thames, and then incurring likely chaffage while cycling 40km before handing the baton (/ timing chip) to Alice, who will be running the final 10km.
We are doing it for Concern Worldwide, a fantastic organisation that works with the world’s poorest people to eliminate hunger. They* really do great work, which I think is best explained by watching the video at the bottom of the page.
As you are probably aware, Alice and I are both obsessed with food, and always thinking about what to cook for our next meal. The people that Concern works with are also always thinking about food, but for them it is whether there will be a meal today, tomorrow or the rest of the week.
Concern works in 25 of the poorest countries in the world, adapting it’s approach and working with communities to tackle the root causes of hunger, helping over 24 million people each year.
Please donate generously!
