I really appreciate everyone taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's my second Great North Run and if it's anything like my first one from last year (I will lose the will to live at 10 miles), no, I will love the whole incredible experience all over again. The manic preparation the night before, the pre-race nerves, the cheering crowds, the chanting between runners and pedestrians, the refreshing shower tents, the crazy costumes, the bands and street performers throughout the course, the red arrows passing overhead, the burst blood blisters, the dying toe nails and meeting my family ecstatic at the end of the course... finishing off with a few well deserved refreshing beers!

I look forward to boring the hell out of you all with my endless stream of photos and quirky tales, upon completion of this epic event :o)
