Story
I rode the unity tour 2015 for the first time last year. I was humbled by the strength of solidarity of riders and those that had lost their loved ones yet rode to support those that supported the charity. An inspiring experience and one which I choose to repeat year after year in support of a great charity and the brothers and sisters we work with, remember and support. I ride for my fallen traffic brother Ian Woodward, taken too soon, shot dead whilst investigating an incident in Chorley. I speak with Ian's wife Lynn yearly. You cannot underestimate the charitably works that COPS does for their families. Before COPS there was nothing, no support. Imagine a young wife having lost her husband with children trying to make sense of it all and trying to pick up the pieces. The only support she got was from the friends of her dead husband. It sounds a million miles ago but its not. Please support the families of our fallen brothers and sisters.
