I retired in 2020 and soon after developed Arthritis of the right knee where I was unable to walk to the end of my drive. Doctors told me to lose weight as I had reached 19.5 stone to help delay the time for when I need a new knee  replacement. Sue also could not walk far due to a foot issue. 

At the same time Sue was diagnosed with Cancer in the neck. We spent time sitting on the settee and thinking about what we wanted to do. You can imagine what we went through.

Fast forward and Sue has now been given the all clear and I have lost 3.5 stone. We have decided to live those dreams and do them instead of talking about them. At the same time we wanted to raise money for charities that are close to our hearts and can only be there by raising money. 

Last week we walked up Kinder Scout and have decided we are going to take on the 84 mile walk. 

Thank you to Adam (our son) from A2B Conditioning for his continued support through difficult times to help us loose weight and strengthen our legs with his on line classes. 

All money raised will go to the charity as we are covering all costs of the walk ourselves.
