This will be my third time participating in the Heavy Metal Truants, raising money for Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline.

It's a long cycle ride, but it's a really rewarding one and there's nothing better than cycling into Donnington Park to the energy and excitement of a heavy metal festival!

Raising money for these charities means a lot to me, as my family has been affected by both cancer (nan) and Alzheimers disease (grandad), and I know how challenging it can be for people stricken with such illnesses. Therefore the work of these charities is absolutely vital in providing care and support for people who need it the most.
