Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been working for Cambridge and District Youth for Christ for the past 8 years, and a further 6 in partnership in my previous job. I am leaving to be trained as a vicar in the Church of England, but still hugely passionate about seeing young people become mature disciples of Jesus - something at the heart of the vision of Youth for Christ.

As you can see from my wonderful picture, my beard has been growing for some time (It's about 10cm long in places) - it started before lockdown commenced. No one in my family likes it - and they are longing for the day it is shaved off.

So, as a parting gesture to Youth for Christ, and to make my family happier, I hope to raise £1000 (now updated to £2000 because of generosity that's already been shown) by shaving the beard and the hair. My final day of work is Thursday 30th July, so planning to chop it all off then. (I will be keeping my eyebrows though!)
