We are raising much needed funds to help fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving Page.

A little boy I know, Felix, has been suffering with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a serious condition that causes progressive muscular weakness. Team Felix are raising money for Joining Jack - a charity that was set up to specifically help boys with DMD.

Joining Jack has the ultimate aim of finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, one of the most common fatal genetic conditions in the world. Just £20 could contribute to crucial medical research. To help raise money for this fantastic charity I am taking part in the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2016.

The Cape Town Cycle Tour is owned and staged by the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust and is the largest timed cycling event in the world. It celebrates its 39th year in 2016 when, on the morning of Sunday 6th March, 35,000 cyclists will line up to ride the 109km route through some of the worlds most spectacular scenery that includes the iconic Table Mountain as a backdrop.

I would very much appreciate any charitable donation you can offer.

Thank you

Dave
