Story
I normally do a walk in the late spring for Blood Cancer UK. But what with Covid and all that going on, myself and the family are doing this 20for20 challenge for the Myleodysplastic Syndrome charity, MDS UK. We (the boys and I, with Donna when she is able to) are doing a challenge a day for 20 days, with each one starting with a different letter of the alphabet. We will be starting on Tuesday 6th October and finish on Sunday 25th October - MDS World Awareness Day.
You won't see the usual swabbing whilst doing a physical challenge. But I will be doing stuff like washing a car in 20 minutes, hula hooping and origami - all of which fill me with absolute dread!
Limited by what we can do, as we continue to remain at home and being very careful, this WILL be fun and we hope to at least get a few quid for a charity that provides so much support for people with Donna's cancer. During Lockdown and since Donna has got great comfort, love and support from this amazing charity.
MDS UK is the only charity in the UK providing vital support, information, advice and conducting research solely into Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS)- a rare blood cancer where the bone marrow fails to produce healthy blood cells. We are a small charity that needs YOUR support! Any amount however small will go to help this amazing charity.
Thank you so much, Dave, Jacob, Maxwell and of course Donna.
