Dave was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy 4 years ago and although he did everything he could to manage his condition, Dave died from heart failure on 16th April 2020.

The sudden death of Dave has left us heartbroken. His funeral will take place on May 13th but due to the covid restrictions we can’t give Dave the send off he deserves so we have decided to raise money for cardiomyopathy UK in his memory.

A celebration of life will be held once the covid restrictions are lifted.

More research is needed into this disease. Cardiomyopathy UK solely rely on the generosity of their supporters to make a vital difference to those affected by Cardiomyopathy. They are a specialist charity providing information, advice and support to enable anyone affected by cardiomyopathy to live as full a life as possible. They raise awareness, improve diagnosis and management of the condition and promote medical research.
