Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm an employee, volunteer and member of The Salvation Army and have been involved in helping this organization for almost 10 years now. I set out a goal to accomplish a charity cycling event this year and what better than to accomplish a challenge that I never imagined possible (I still don't know how I'm going to achieve 4 days of riding).

The reason I committed to this event was because people go every day with bigger challenges in life, and this is just a simple way to bring awareness and help raise funds to eliminate poverty and provide support to those in need. Working with The Salvation Army I know first hand the struggle of individuals around the world and that this organization is committed to providing aid to where ever it is needed.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I would love to surpass this goal, as most of the funding currently is toward the expenses to get there: I must raise a minimum of £1400 directly to The Salvation Army UK (with £690 of that to cover the costs of the ride from London to Paris), then I'll still need to raise another $2000 for travel from Atlanta to London. All extra funding will go directly toward the work of The Salvation Army UK so please donate as much as possible!
