Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - hopefully you will be able to spare some change to sponsor me as I attempt the South Cost 100km Ultra Challenge
Why?
In recent years I’ve lost two people close to me due to brain tumours. Both fought tremendously hard against the illness and towards the end of their lives they were both wonderfully cared for by the Hospice In The Weald at Pembury.
I lost my Dad, Malcolm, who I miss every day, even more so over the past year as I know he would have thoroughly enjoyed travelling around Europe watching his beloved West Ham!
I also lost one of my best mates with whom I grew up with from primary school, Simon, who had forged a growing reputation for himself as a football coach, initially with Tonbridge Angels youth teams and Kent schoolboys, before coaching Tonbridge reserves and first team.
Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, and those important to them. They desperately rely on charitable contributions so please do contribute, however small, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
