We fund lifesaving research to to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm taking on this challenge as i know that coronary heart disease is the UKs single most killer. This charity means a lot to me as i know people that have suffered from heart disease and more research is needed to help fight this. I have never taken on a challenge like this before and just want to raise as much as i can to help the research that is needed. I'm doing the walk in memory of Ben Dickinson, a little boy who lost his life in 2003, aged just 3 yrs old. Ben caught Myocarditis,

The consequences of myocarditis vary widely. It can cause a mild disease without any symptoms that resolves itself, or it may cause chest pain, heart failure, or sudden death

they are pretty powerless against it and although rare, children still die from it and suddenly. Research is the only way to stop it happening.
