Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After completing the Cotswold Way 100km in 2021 for Alzheimers Society, I've decided to take on the Peak District this year to raise money for Dogs Trust. I'll be aiming to walk the 100km in 24 hours, from 8am to 8am the following day.
Anyone who knows me will vouch that the phrase "mans best friend" applies to my cocker spaniel Murphy as much as any body, in fact we're inseparable! (much to my wife Emmas annoyance!)
Its a sad fact that too many dogs don't get the life that Murphy has, but by raising money for Dogs Trust we can try and make sure as many dogs s possible can get the help that they need and the chance of a better home.
£12 would microchip a dog at one of their re-homing centres
£100 would neuter a dog and help prevent unwanted puppies
£20 would vaccinate a dog against infectious diseases
Murphy can't do the event with me but he'll be there on the day cheering me on, and he's already looking forward to all our training walks in the build up to the big day.
From me and Murphy, thankyou for your donation and for helping Dogs Trust
