Story
In July 2006 I lost my son Michael suddenly to Epilepsy aged only 19.
He was young, fit, full of energy and a fantastic sense of humour with his whole life in front of him, when he was so cruelly taken from us.
That is when I became aware of Epilepsy Bereaved as a charity, who do tremendous work in not only supporting people like me to deal with such a terrible shock, but campaign for greater awareness and research in to an illness which takes the lives of 3 people per day in this country.
For more details on the fantastic work they have done and continue to do please visit www.sudep.org
This is the second charity event we have done and as with the first our primary aim is to raise awareness as well as money, and for that reason alone I ask that you share this page to all your friends, to highlight the need for a greater understanding and so in turn may reduce the risk of other families going through what we have.

Of course all charities need money so all donations are gratefully received. I know economically things are tough at the moment but every penny received makes a huge difference to people in their darkest hour and the value of that cannot be underestimated.
