Me and my son Richard (11) love football and we decided one afternoon that we should try and visit all 92 Football League Clubs in the quickest time possible. The 94 Quest was then born as we also added in the Millenium Stadium and Wembley!
Richard then suggested that rather than just doing it for ourselves that we should also raise funds for a charity.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is dedicated to improving the life and chances of survival for the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. A Teenage Cancer Trust Unit provides optimum care through innovative combination of design, equipment and facilities and specialist staff and culture. In addition to the units, the trust also provides support for the young people and their families all the way through their cancer experience. The Teenage Cancer Trust also funds the country’s only Professor of Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Medicine who leads research into why young people get cancer and how best to treat it; ultimately improving diagnosis and survival rates. £2000 could fund the activity budget for a Youth support coordinator for a year, ensuring loads od engaging activities for young people who may need to stay on teenage Cancer Unit for many weeks or months.
Please help us by donating as much as you can afford.
