In August 2010 Nick lost his battle with Cancer. He was only 30 years old.

Nick was a great friend to many people including myself. In memory of Nick, eight of us who knew Nick are going to complete the C2C cycling challenge in July. The route is 140 (ish) miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland.

We start on 15th July and hope to finish on the 17th July.

I like to think Nick, who was a keen cyclist himself, would chuckle to see us trying this challenge in his memory, as more than a couple of us have not been on a bike in years!!

We don't have a target amount to reach, we just want to raise as much as we can for MacMillan Cancer Support.
