As you may know Zoe's place children's hospice will be doing all they can to help anyone staying in the hospice. please take a moment to read a bit more and understand more what Zoe's place does. Thank you
"Palliative care"
"The staff at Zoe's place provide care and support 24 hrs a day for both the child and the family. We need to off respite care through the most difficult of times to ensure the needs of the child and their families are met.
The staff at Zoe's place consist of a mixture of registered and support staff and are experienced in caring for children with life-limiting and/or life-threatening conditions. Additionally we work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the care we provide will allow a child to reach his or her full potential. The needs of the child and their family are central to any care plan that is developed."
"Respite care"
"The majority of the support we give at Zoe's place is respite care. All of the babies at the Hospice have a life limiting or life threatening condition and require differing levels of 24 hour support on a one to one basis. Zoe's place offers our parents and carers a chance to recharge their batteries or to spend time with their other children.
The value of this respite care to our families cannot be underestimated and many families tell us that they simply would not be able to cope without the support of our team.
Our hospice is designed to be a'home away from home' in which the babies feel comfortable and are able to get the most out of our very special facilities.
Alongside the care that we offer to the children we also support the whole family with support through our parent support network and the sibling groups.
our parents meet monthly and there are a variety of activities."
Thank you for taking the time to read this information i hope you have a better insight to how this great local charity works. please help santa to the top of mount snowdon and get donating
