Over the months leading up to this challenge we'll be raising money in a number of ways as Ben & I launch our charity 'Grandad'. All money raised during this chapter will go towards Alzheimer's Society 'Leading the fight against dementia.' Not ones to mess about we've stuck a pin in one of the hardest challenges we could find... trekking up Kilimanjaro. My theory is that if we do something this big, our Grandad won't forget it, and if he does at least we're raising money to help him, and others like him who suffer from the disease in all it's varying degrees of severity. 

We want this project to kickstart a whole host of 'giving' with 'Grandad' in mind, not just ours, we understand that everyone has their cause, however we are unified in the love/thought/memory of our grandparents. 

I feel blessed that I have an incredible network of friends and colleagues that I can tap up for support. With the three peaks challenge, a jaunt down Hadrian's wall, along with a few other events we hope to raise a lot of money.
