Story
Big up yourself for coming here, it means a lot :D
Firstly, I know I'm mad but I once did a 10K fun run on a hangover, two hours sleep and absolutely no training and still completed it in 52 minutes so this should be a laugh right?!
Secondly, I'm actually going to take this one seriously...
...More so because I'm running in memory of my Dad, who suffered from Kidney Failure and after five years of helping him with his home dialysis, the treatment became less and less effective over time. I want to do my bit to contribute to the great work they do at Kidney Research UK to give more people who suffer the same as my Dad did, a better chance and better support.
I've been to watch the London Marathon for the last three years and every year I'm inspired to actually do it... you know, whilst I'm scoffing down a burger and sipping on a mixed fruits kopparberg at the sideline. This year however, that kopparberg will have to be on ice at the finish line, as I actually do this.
Your support is appreciated and donating is optional so thank YOU!
Here's to lot's of sweat, tears, occasional breakdowns and er, running...
Danny :)
