Hi everyone my name is Dannikate,

I’m hoping to raise some money for Steel Warriors as they tackle knife crime head on by removing knives off the streets and melting them down to create outdoor community gyms. 

The reason why I have chose a charity to do with knife crime is my cousin Dean was murdered in 2017. Losing my cousin Dean is the hardest thing myself and my family have ever experienced, my aim is to help other families not go through this pain that we are. So if I can help one family from losing someone they love then I will! 

I feel like more awareness needs to be brought to a real crisis that is happening all around every single one of us, so please if you can donate some money to this amazing charity no matter how small it will be greatly appreciated.

Steel Warriors is a charity that aims to reduce the number of young people carrying knives in the UK. We take seized and surrendered knives from London’s streets, melt them down, and recycle the steel into free outdoor calisthenics gyms. We believe lives should be built on steel, not destroyed by it.Steel Warriors want to provide the first network of free calisthenics gyms across the UK. We believe our gyms can make a real impact on affected communities, bringing people together and allowing them to build strength, confidence and discipline.
