Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A group of AkzoNobel colleagues, including myself, have come together to help build a four-block classroom building in Nepal. This will provide 150 students with improved educational facilities. Currently the school is subjected to poor conditions including leaking roofs, mud floors, damp and mould. The project will aid the educational opportunities for the children in Nepal and their quality of life.

When the opportunity to be part of this incredible project team came up, I jumped, and tried my best to be offered a place. 2023 has taught me that tomorrow is not promised, so grab every opportunity you can. It brings great pride in knowing the opportunities this will provide to the local community of Kalika in Chitwan, and the self-growth I will experience throughout the journey.

To make this project happen, I need to raise a personal target of £2,100 to cover materials and equipment. AkzoNobel will fund my flights and accommodation.
