Story
On Sat 21st Aug 2021 My dad and Liz lost their beloved boy Heston. Heston was the Canine partners demo dog for Scotland but he was also a huge part of our family. We are all devastated to have lost this amazing boy who brought so much joy to everyone who met him.
Darcey has decided that in memory of Heston she would like to raise money for canine partners. She will walk 30miles in the month of September.
Our amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. They are trained to help with everyday tasks such as opening and closing doors, unloading the washing machine, picking up dropped items, pressing buttons and switches and fetching help in an emergency. Our life-transforming dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction and self-esteem.
