This is the first event in what I hope will be a long list of fundraisers I’ll take part in to raise money for Crohn’s Colitis U.K. 

My baby sister Milly has battled with this condition since she was 20, this year we struggled to keep it under control after a successful 8 or so years of living fairly comfortably with the condition. Recently, her body stopped responding to the medication she was on to stabilise her Crohn’s/Colitis and on the 20th October we received the news we’d always dreaded, she needed life changing (and life saving) surgery

Melissa is an incredible inspiration to me, she is my best friend, she has handled this major life adjustment with bravery and unwavering strength. I hope by raising money to support the research into Crohn’s and Colitis can go a small way to showing how incredibly proud and in awe I am of the special person I get to call my baby sister
