After having to defer my place this year with a virus, I am even more determined to really go for it in 2012! People often ask me why run a marathon? I could never do that! The truth is that was me a while ago, why run 26.2 miles when you can get a cab, bus or cycle it was my reasoning! But when I started running(yes slowly!!) things make a bit more sense, I do it for the people who will never get the chance to do something special, be it for the circumstances they are in,physical or othewise. I do it because with the help from my amazing supportive family and friends we can raise money to help save peoples lives! A bit dramatic you may say, but the work of St John ambulance and their volunteers do save lives.

 I am just a normal ,ordinary, slighty mad(so I am told) person with a chance to do something extraordinary ,and as long as my legs keep going , my lonely 2010 medal with have friend in April 2012 and St John Ambulance will be £1650 better off. And my long suffering kurb crew , I promise to do it in 5 hrs this time!!!!!!!!!!!!
