Many of us have lost nearest and dearest, friends and family to this terrible disease. I have too many to mention. But one Awesome guy in particular I had the privilege of knowing is Dan king who was my sister in laws partner, he battled this disease and defied the odds for his partner his kids his mum and Dad, his siblings and  family. He encountered numerous life threatening operations whilst continuing to work, train in the gym in his mum and dads garage and climb mountains, all whilst in treatment and in recovery. He was grateful to all of the team at RNOH Stanmore for all the treatment they gave him and others. Dan amazed them on many occasions, walking around the hospital after procedures when most patients would  have still been in the recovery room! Dan loved his Family more than anything and fought like a lion! He is missed by them and his friends  every day ! Please consider donating if only a pound thank you
