Thanks for taking the time to visit our page in memory of our lovely Dan. Daniel was a real shining star in the SMS community. He had grown into a polite, funny, gentle family man. Showing other SMS families how amazing and bright their futures can be whilst bringing joy and laughter to all our lives. We will miss his beaming smile, his hearty laugh and his love.

Smith-Magenis syndrome (SMS) is a genetic disability due to a microdeletion or mutation on chromosome 17. It is very rare affecting around 1 in every 25,000. Covid 19 has hit this charity hard, yet they are still actively supporting those diagnosed and importantly their families. Money raised also helps to fund further research into this unique condition.
