Hi, we're Daniel and Jenny, and we both work for the Yorkshire charity, Carers' Resource.

We're proud to be part of an amazing charity which provides vital support to thousands of unpaid carers.

We will be running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on 14th May 2023 to raise funds for Carers' Resource and help the charity support more unpaid carers.

Daniel, who has never run a marathon before, is also planning to run the Yorkshire Marathon, in and around York, on 15th October 2023.

In addition, Jenny will be tackling the North York Moors Marathon on 28th October 2023.

Carers' Resource gives practical and emotional support to unpaid carers of all ages, across Bradford, Harrogate, Craven and Selby. A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, frailty, disability, mental health issues or an addiction, cannot cope without their support. A carer could be a young person looking after a parent or sibling, an adult caring for an elderly parent or neighbour, a parent looking after a child with additional needs, or a husband or wife caring for their partner.
