This month I will be challenging myself to row 200km on a rowing machine to raise money for Huggard. This means I'll be covering an average of about 10km every night in the run-up to Christmas!!

Those of you who live near Cardiff will likely have heard of Huggard - it is located just next to Cardiff central train station and for 30 years it has provided food, warmth, support and shelter for the homeless of South Wales. 

After the year we have had, there is no better time to support such a fantastic charity 

As an extra incentive, every penny you donate up to £500 will be matched by the organisation I work for so it’s a fantastic way to raise money for a hugely important charity

And every penny counts...

    •    £5 will buy 3 meals for someone who is sleeping rough.

    •    £10 pays for a bed for the night.  

    •    £25 is what it costs for someone to work with a person struggling with homelessness to help them claim the benefits they are owed and find more long term accommodation.  

    •    £47 pays for emergency accommodation for a week.
