Story

https://twitter.com/wwunicycle2016

On the last weekend of October I am challenging myself to raise awareness and funds for Nystagmus Network, a charity dedicated to providing support to families and patients affected by nystagmus.

Nystagmus is the constant wobbling of the eyes and affects one in a thousand newborns in the UK.  Patients with nystagmus are commonly visually impaired and the majority currently rarely find out the cause of their condition.

Nystagmus Network is a community and charity which supplies support to families affected by nystagmus.  Nystagmus Network are dedicated to funding cutting edge research with the ambitions of improving our understanding of the cause of nystagmus and one day finding a cure.  The charity also currently provides support and advice to patients and families affected by visual impairment secondary to this poorly understood condition.

For more information on nystagmus and the Nystagmus Network please visit their website www.nystagmusnetwork.org/

Like nystagmus unicycles are also wobbly and I plan to ride mine ~12 miles from Winchester, along Pilgrim's way to Southampton Eye Clinic!

Wish me luck and donate generously!
