Story

Hello Everyone,

We will no longer sit back and watch from abroad. We are raising money to help The Salvation Army UK send vital funds to Australia. All money raised will be sent to Australia to help The Salvation Army to provide relief and ongoing recovery to rebuild and prepare Australia for future disasters.

Australia has been fighting catastrophic fires since September 2019, now being labeled Australia's `Black Summer' fires caused by record breaking heat, drought, lightning, and arson. The devastation of these fires will have a significant impact on Australia for years to come.

To date:

10.3 million hectares have been burned since September

25 People have been killed

2,000 Homes destroyed

1 BILLION animals have been affected

An estimated 2,700 firefighters, including volunteers, are now on the ground to stop the bushfires. That's about 40 percent of the firefighters in New South Wales, which has the fourth-largest urban fire service in the world with close to 6,800 firefighters.

The 10 of us here at M Moser Associates Singapore want to do something to help raise further awareness of what is going on and to also raise as much money as we can.

Our challenge will be to walk the 36km route known as the Singapore coast to coast trail.

If you could be so kind as to donate anything you can, it would really help towards our goal and hopefully help to put end to the disaster that has stricken the beautiful country.

Thank you, to all of you.

Daniel, Reza, Olivia, Justine, Jiawen, Melda, Julia, Evelyn, Girlie, Bhavna, Anisha
