Caring in Bristols vision is of a city empowered to solve homelessness. Our mission is to work in imaginative and creative ways with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, with the public, and with community partners to bring about lasting change in Bristol and beyond.
The Memorial Stadium Sleep-out is an event designed to give people an insight into the severity of sleeping conditions that many people in our city have to face not only on one night, but every night of the year. Sleep-out participants will spend the night sleeping in stands within the Memorial Stadium whilst raising money for Caring in Bristol.
There are around 2,900 people experiencing homelessness in Bristol. This ranges from those people rough sleeping in the city, a very visual representation of the issue, through to those people sleeping in cars, vans, sofa surfing and in temporary accommodation.
Caring in Bristol deliver projects around homelessness that aim to engage the community.
