Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may remember (and also donated), I had planned on walking a mile with the aid of a false training leg and support bars shortly after having my left leg amputated on the 10th August 2016 due to blood clots in the arteries of the leg. Unfortunately my enthusiasm far outweighed the reality of my situation at the time so my physio team and specialist consultants wouldn't allow it in the end. But I have never forgotten about it and have always planned to see the job through. Considering the unbelievable amount of support and money raised, I have registered to do the CCUK 5km walk in London on the 9th June 2018. I will now be doing this with my own prosthetic leg (with a walking stick on stand by if needed). I am doing this on behalf of #IBDSuperheroes which gives all funds raised to Cure Crohns and Colitis. Cure Crohs and Colitis is an exceptional charity which donates every penny raised towards medical research to find a cure for Crohns and Colitis.
