Round the Rock is a running race around this island we call home. It is a 48.1 mile race that takes in the rugged north coast and thousands of feet of ascent. It is rated as one of the most difficult ultra marathons and is my challenge to help raise money for the friends of SCBU Jersey.

My son Hugo spent the first week of his life being cared for by the incredible staff at Jersey's special care baby unity (SCBU). The first week of a child's life is possibly the most daunting time as a parent, and I can honestly say that the staff were nothing short of incredible. Their kind, compassionate and supportive approach to my son's care was everything I could have hoped for as a first time parent, especially during such a difficult time. This fundraising is an opportunity for me to pay it forwards, and support this wonderful teams efforts in continuing to provide life-saving care to other children.
