I'll be running my first marathon on Sunday 1st of October and I thought it would be a good opportunity to raise funds for the Special Care Baby Unit in Jersey. SCBU is an amazing facility that is close to my family’s hearts, we saw first-hand what an amazing job they do when they cared for our son Leo, who was in SCBU for two and a half weeks in 2012. Also SCBU provided us with care and support during much sadder times when they looked after our daughter Lauren, who was born prematurely at 24 weeks along with her twin brother, Sam.
