We Raising funds for stem cell research to save and improve people's lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Daniel Black and on 2nd December 2009 i was involved in a road traffic collision which left me paralysed. As a result of a stroke the evening of the collision I now only have use of my left arm meaning i am tri-plegic.

I spent 19 months in the spinal injury unit at Rockwood hospital, cardiff with many other people in my position and I now require permanant round the clock support.

I am looking to raise money towards getting surgery to help me get on my feet again but if that isn't possible then the money will be given to Geoffrey Raisman at the UKSCF/NSIF to help with research and development of treatment of spinal cord injury via OEC/Stem cell research. So although my target is a drop in the ocean, it should help all those in my position.
