London Marathon 2021!

London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
Unfortunately most people today have been affected by cancer, whether they have been diagnosed themselves or been through the horrendous journey with a loved one.
Cancer first affected my family with the loss of my grandad Graham. He suffered but fought strongly for 3 years but unfortunately passed away on the 20th December 2000, he was just 59 years old. He is the reason I signed up to the London Marathon x
This run has always meant so much to me, but it means even more to me now as my beautiful and brave mother in law Lorna has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She is receiving help and support from Macmillan. I am dedicating this run to her too x
In addition to my grandad, cancer has since taken away from my family our uncle Ced, also aged 59, and also much loved family members and friends x
It's the work of charities such as Macmillian that make a huge impact on supporting people and their loved ones go through their journey. Macmillan Cancer Support is there to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support.
If you would like to donate, it would mean so much.
Thanks and love, Dani x
