Why have a taken on the challenge to run the Virgin London Marathon 2020....because I am nuts !!!

This is a challenge I have always wanted to set myself and I felt that hitting a mile stone birthday in 2020 there was no better time. 

If I am going to lose toenails, I needed to put this to a good cause so I decided to run in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation. 

Meningitis can strike anybody and at any time. Nobody knows this better than 2 extremely close friends ( actually they are my BBFs- Best friends for ever). When their two young babies contracted Meningitis at 6 and 8 weeks old. Thankfully these two little boys are healthy and doing what boys should....being naughty. Without the research conducted by MRF this could have been a different story. 

Do you know the symptoms of Meningitis  ???
