In addition to my fundraising from The Frank Fagan Memorial Duathlon going to the Irish Heart Foundation I am hoping to raise more money for a very worthwhile cause by going one step further before the year is over.

On the weekend of the 23/24th September I am aiming to complete the Dublin City Half Marathon on the Saturday and the Great Dublin Bike Ride on the Sunday, with all funds raised going to the Irish Heart Foundation.

My Father passed away suddenly on December 29th 2012 as a result of cardiac arrest and that has stuck with me ever since. If the funds I raise could help even one family to avoid that through the work of the Irish Heart Foundation then all the better.
