Story
As the effects of COVID-19 course through the Jewish community, vulnerable individuals and families face loss of income and support services, increasing mental healthcare needs, and inability to navigate a new way of caring for themselves.
Non-profit institutions - - from synagogues and human service agencies to community centers and schools - - are hampered by closures, human resource issues, and falling donations, which prevents them from delivering critical services to care for those in need.
We can't put our arms around the people who are suffering most right now. This community-wide relief fund will bring them the food, mental health counseling, social contact, and in-home aid they need to weather this emergency.
Please help the elderly who are challenged to care for themselves at this time.
Please help our doctors, nurses, EMTs, firefighters, police officers, and all first responders to do their job safely.
Please help the single parents whose work and childcare are closed and cannot make ends meet.
Please help those with special needs whose social services are on hold.
Please help the business owners who can't make payroll supporting their own and countless other families' livelihoods.
Please help those in mental health crisis.
