Story
Raymond McGurk passed away on the 6th of May 2016 after battling bravely with Malignant Melanoma for five months. He was only 52 years old. Our hearts where broken when he gently slipped from this world into the next. He was surrounded by all the people in the world who loved and cherished him - his family. He was a caring and loving father who worshiped his children. He was a loyal and devoted husband and son. A thoughtful brother, uncle and cousin and most of all a friend to everyone. Our loss was devastating but we cherish his memory every day by remembering little things that he would have said, funny stories he used to tell, looking at photographs we have of him and visiting his grave. We, his family understand how personal the loss of someone close to us by cancer is, and how much Raymond is missed on a daily basis. We want to Run for Raymond in the London Winter Run to raise much needed funds for research into finding a cure or treatment for cancer. This is the first time We will be running for Raymond but it wont be the last. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
