Anthony Nolan is the charity that makes lifesaving connections between patients in need and people ready to donate their stem cells. It costs £40 to add each new person onto the Anthony Nolan register; each of those people has the potential to save a life by donating. 

One of the incredible strangers on the Anthony Nolan register donated their bone marrow which saved my son James's life. I want to raise money for Antony Nolan so they can add more lifesavers to their register and give more people like James a chance at life.

James turns 18 in 2024. He would not be here today if not for the bone marrow transplants he received when he was very young. Anthony Nolan played a critical part in getting a donor for him - twice. Through Anthony Nolan I’ve since donated my peripheral blood stem cells in the hope that I too can help someone the way James’s donor helped him. 

The day before James turns 18 I turn 50, and I hope I can honour him reaching adulthood by achieving one of my lifelong goals to run the London Marathon. Doing so whilst raising money for Anthony Nolan will make this even more special.
