I'm running the Luton Marathon on Sunday 18th November in memory of Lorcan Devine, beloved Landlord of the Old Red Lion Theatre Pub in Islington, who sadly passed away in 2009, and on behalf of his favoured charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind. I'm also running in memory of Lara Jones, a fellow EFL teacher, who also tragically passed away earlier this year at the age of just 26, and on behalf of Lara's Foundation, which has been set up in her name by her mum Carolyn, who I met on my travels in Bolivia and Chile a couple of years ago. Lara's aim and now that of her foundation, is to facilitate the learning of English for people of low to no income.
