The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

As many of you know, I am an aspiring Royal Marines Officer. Therefore the idea of completing an event for a charity that helps soldiers suffering from mental illnesses such as depression and PTSD is of utmost importance to me.

Wounds that aren't visible can go un-noticed and un-helped, Combat Stress provides the support for these soldiers once they leave the forces.

We achieved the initial goal of £500 within 1 week, we have over 100 days to go and therefore I have raised the goal to £1,532. Why? This exact amount of money will allow a veteran to see a psychologist for one week. This could mean everything to them and because of that I am going to do everything in my power to achieve it.

Thanks for the amazing support so far, but we still have a long way to go. Lets try and make the difference in that veterans life. Cheers.
