Story
It’s 20 years since we lost my amazing Mum, Debby Fouracres, after her battle with cancer – aged just 43. And I’m running the 2024 London Marathon in her memory.
In her final days, she was looked after by the wonderful Cornwall Hospice Care staff at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice. They were amazing, not only making her last hours peaceful and painless but also supporting our family, particularly myself and my sister Kylie.
Unfortunately, Mum wasn’t the only one in our family to need their support: two of our grandparents, Michael Fouracres and Glenda Bullock, also received excellent care in the hospice.
We, like so many other families, can’t thank them enough for their incredible kindness and professionalism. They came to our aid when we needed it most and we want to raise as much money as we can to help them help others too.
Thanks for your support. Together we really can make a difference.
