Story

Thank you, your generous contribution has helped a child and their family in their greatest need. It helps, A lot, to know people do care, enough to help this charity.

Encouraged by our friends, family and the Quiz league fraternity at the local pub, the Village Inn, Beoley to raise money for the Acorns Childrens Charity by doing a Tandem skydive on Sunday 30 May 2010, all from a Beer Mat promo

Acorns Children’s Hospices care for children who are life limited in one of three 10-bed hospices in Selly Oak, Walsall and .

Free for young people and their families Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the West Midlands and parts of Staffordshire and .

ver 1,500 families have been supported in the last 21 years.

short break, emergency and end-of-life care and community support 24/7.

Costs over £6M P/A. Acorns rely on the community for the majority of its activities, through 43 shops, Volunteers, sponsors and events.

 

It costs £4,500 per day to run each of the hospices;
