Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Lawrence Dallaglio is organising a 2,800km cycle ride across Europe to raise £1million for a number of causes.
Never one to shy away from pushing the boundaries, Lawrence will lead a team of cyclists including celebrities from the worlds of sport, screen and music to visit each of the six stadia involved in the Six Nations rugby tournament next year.
Starting off in Rome for the clash between Italy and England, Lawrence and co will pedal across the continent, stopping in Paris, London, Cardiff, Dublin and Edinburgh in the space of 28 gruelling days in February and March 2010, watching a Six Nations match at each venue on the way.
In partnership with the Sport Relief campaign, the cycle ride will aim to raise £1 million for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation, which in turn will support Cancer Research UK, DebRA, the Help for Heroes campaign, the RPA Benevolent Fund and Leukaemia Research.
I will be joining Lawrence, as part of a Greene King team, for the Paris to Twickenham leg cycling 410km (256 miles) in 4 days in FEBRUARY 2010, Yes that's right in February it is going to be cold and likely to be wet and windy, this is going to be a tough challenge and pretty uncomfortable at times but I feel the charities we are supporting through sport relief and the Dallaglio Foundation are really worthwhile, so please give as generously as possible.
