Dad Matters is a perinatal and parent/infant peer support service for dads and male carers. Developed by Home-Start HOST and delivered by Home-Start schemes across the UK, we reach thousands of dads universally and hundreds with one to one peer support each year

We work with dads and their families to support with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to services. We have universal engagement, targeted outreach and one to one peer support, as well as our online engagement. 

Online we have platforms on Facebook, X (formerly twitter,) Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Collectively we have over 25k followers, including over 1000 dads in our closed Facebook group.

While we work with NHS, public health and local authorities to fund our core work, fundraising helps us to provide unrestricted funds that we can use for things like volunteer training, resource development and printing, raising awareness and lots of other things that improve and enhance our offer.

All fundraising is done for Home-Start HOST and will go directly into supporting families.
